We were set the task of making a music video filming at a rate of 50 fps so that when we went to edit the video we could link it up to the song and it would slow down to the right lyrics being sung,
The original Yellow Coldplay music video was set on a beach so we wanted to see if we could make our own version by driving to a beach near by which lucky enough looked exactly the same. We wanted to get closer to the water since the tide was out so we decided to walk closer but then we noticed a sign about sinking sand and mud so we stopped walking but then one of our classmates wanted to test how far he could go towards the water, He had an accident where he fell and got covered in mud all over his legs and arms. Everyone was really cold and was starting to give up and want to go home but I soon made them change their mind. Since our star of the video got in a accident we had to choose who would fill in for him which was me and we quickly learnt the lyrics and filmed some shots since it was getting colder by the minute.
We managed to get some good parts of the song done which I am very proud of during the filming but I feel we could have filmed a lot more clips since in the video it was very good and full on in the start but by the end you could tell we were running out of things to put into the video. In the end i felt our video turned out a lot better then we thought it would since it was only two people working on the shots and recording.
At the time, it was during our "break" that we decided to drive to Berrow beach but its not really a breaks its our study period to choose to do things for our college course.
